...great set of knives...however, I was pretty disappointed that the label/logo on the handles are peel on/off...washed them a few times and they curled up and off...also found one of the steak knives might have a manufacturing flaw...tip and top chipped...don't know exactly how to fix that...would have liked to have some kind of user/owner manual with the set too...washing recommendations, care instructions, sharpening/honing directions and the like. Overall, good value for money, would be even better with more support.

I have a set of Wusthof knives and LOVE it so got it for my sister in law who loves it just as much. Took a while to get it but so worth the wait!

I use these knives for day-to-day cooking and so far they are great. The handles are sturdy, blades are very sharp, and the block looks nice on our kitchen counter. I am a woman with fairly small hands and I feel that I have a good grip on these knives when I use them. I've found that the knives are easy to clean (don't hold on to food stuffs), but in fact are so sharp that they cut the bristles from the dish-scrubbing brush I use! The 18-piece set is worth it to get the 6 steak knives (and a nice place to store them).
