Our wood sources do not harm the environment by using “slash and burn” methods of harvesting trees. All of our wood is "Harvested With Care", meaning that the trees we use are harvested legally from privately owned lands. In addition, local governmental agencies manage, regulate and monitor the condition of the local forests and issue strict permits for every step of the harvesting process. Local governmental agencies also monitor and inspect the transportation of the harvested logs, ensuring that there are no more trees cut than what is needed or permitted. We care about sustaining the environment and are constantly looking for environmentally friendly wood sources! ACACIAWARE CARE INSTRUCTIONS: ACACIAWARE is a dense, naturally resinous hardwood which, by it’s very nature, resists penetration by water and will not absorb stains or odors. ACACIAWARE means "EASY CARE"! Just hand wash with warm soapy water and air dry. ACACIAWARE is extremely durable but not dishwasher safe.
