We love the peel for removing pizza from both our oven stones and our grill stone. We usually use cornmeal on a wooden peel to place the pizza on the stone. The crust will stick with this particular model, and corn meal doesn't stay on it well.

Pizza Peel

This peel was used once and thrown away! It came with a sticker on it that was very difficult to remove (the gummy residue was very persistent). Why do you put stickers on things like this?! When I used this peel, I used flour and corn meal to try to keep the pizza dough from sticking to the peel; but by the time I got the thing to the oven, the pizza was stuck to the peel. When I tried to shake it gently onto the baking stone, most of the toppings went to the bottom of the oven. My oven is a mess now.

A perfect tool for the job, nothing more. The handle storage is great, and if the edge isn't quite sharp enough for you, it's quite easy to grind down.
