Beauty is in the eye of the beholderOct. 18, 2009

I was delighted with the stock pot when it arrived. When I used it for the first time, (and according to the directions) my experience was not happy. I tried to use it as a spaghetti sauce pan, frying the garlic, etc., in oil and then tomatoes, etc. Everything stuck to the bottom and even with a wood spoon, it was difficult to remove particles stuck to the bottom of the pan. I did not exceed the recommendations that came with the pan. Ok, after all was done, and the sauce/gravy made, when it came to cleanup, the burnt stuff required a lot of soaking and brillo. The brillo pads scratched the enamel (the directions said not to use it) but I had no choice as the burnt on stuff would not come off with anything else. So, I learned the hard way. Stock pots made of this material are strictly for boiling, nothing else. If you want to make a spaghetti sauce, don't use this pan.

I received my Stockpot in the mail and it was as beautiful as I hoped it would be. It is of good quality and cooks well.
I use it to cook pasta, soups, spegetti sauce, etc.
It is a great pan to have and I wouldn't mind owning a few more.
