I am basically a party chef hosting dinner and events up to 50-60 people. My wife does the organization and presentation and I serve up the cuisine. Typically, I'm a heavy user of my food processor for many dishes when specific cuts for presentation aren't required, but when I started exploring various soups, I could never get the texture I needed from the processor and my old blender was basically useless. Enter this beauty. I must say I'm extremely impressed with it's capacity and ability to control the exact texture of the liquid based on a combination of speed and pulse. From slightly chunky to perfectly smooth (even froth) it's been a real treat adding this tool to my arsenal. As with almost every blender I've tried, pure crushed ice seems to be a challenge, but my frozen drinks with the right amount of liquid don't have a chunk of ice in site. I looked all over for this Blender, because of the Cuisinart name I knew it would be a great purchase. Your website once again came through, the price is great and shipping was really fast.

I purchased this to replace my old Cuisinart blender that died a few weeks ago, and so far I have nothing but good things to say about this one. The new one has a larger container (which pours more easily than the old) and crushes ice much more quickly & more efficiently than the old one. The primary use for the blender in our household is iced smoothies, and so far this one is doing the best job of any blender I've owned. It blows through frozen fruit and ice cubes in seconds and leaves a really smooth (i.e. lacking in large ice fragments) mixture behind. I would definitely recommend this blender.
